DIVE Foundation inspires to take on the issue of the rise in the number of disadvantages youths through its vocational rehabilitation programs.
The Issue Disadvantaged Youths
Drug addiction is one of the leading and unsolved problems in Liberia. But unfortunately, no facility provides full recovery. Persons disadvantaged as a result of addiction to drugs are considered criminals. However, it cannot be ruled out that they are patients needing specialized therapy that will inhibit total mental, physical and economic recovery. Overcoming this situation is a complex process that requires therapeutic services and a solution that comprises rehabilitation services that will cater to the ills of societies, which renders youth vulnerable to drug addiction and, consequently, criminals.
The DIVE Foundation Approach
DIVE Foundation approach is to create a stimulating environment in an ecological area, with comfortable and contemporary building structures for accommodation where disadvantaged youths can have access to vocational rehabilitation programs to prepare them for reintegration into society.
